Warranty Coverage Period:
Tio America warrants to the customer that our product will be free from any defect in material and/or workmanship for a period of twelve (12) months from the day of delivery. Tio America will cover 100% of parts and labor on our location or in any Tio America Authorized Service Provider.
Tio America will repair or replace as its option all genuine parts found with problems in material and/or workmanship, under normal use, maintenance and service with genuine parts without changes for parts and labor during the warranty coverage period which starts the day of delivery of the vehicle.
Exclusions on Warranty:
Normal wear and tear items such as the charger plug receptacle, seats, windshield, wiper blades, trim pieces, fuses, decals (except safety decals), brake shoes, break pads, brushes, light bulbs, mat and pads, cosmetic deterioration and items which deteriorate or fail due to lengthy exposure to the elements.
Damage caused by failure to provide proper service, maintenance and/or storage, as described in Tio’s Owner’s Manual.
Damage resulting from improper repairs, modifications or use of non approved parts or repairs done by a non-authorized dealer.
Damage resulting from continued use of the vehicle after a defect is or should have been discovered.
Damage resulting from an accident, fire, theft, vandalism or any act of God.
Damage to batteries resulting from lack of maintenance, a long period of time discharged or from freezing or high temperature exposures.
Misusing the vehicle, such as driving over curbs, overloading, racing or running for an extended period of time, different than the purpose intended for the vehicle specified in the Owner’s Manual.
Altering original parts without Tio America’s written consent, as well as making chassis, body, electrical or mechanical modifications.
